Start a chat

  1. Open a project or your personal workspace.
  2. Type your message in the input box.
  3. Pick a model from the model selector.
  4. Press Enter or click the send button.

Ask and Act modes

  • Ask — Overlay answers questions using memory, knowledge, and files.
  • Act — Overlay can use tools such as browser, sandboxes, and integrations.
Switch modes from the toolbar next to the input.

Attach files

Drag a file into the input or click the attachment icon. Files are stored in your knowledge and can be referenced in later messages.

Stop and retry

  • Click Stop at any time to stop the model mid-reply.
  • Click Retry to regenerate a response.
  • Hover over a message and click the menu to edit, delete, or copy.

Generated UI

Some replies include cards, tables, or action buttons. These are generated from the model and can be run directly. [TODO: screenshot of chat UI with model selector and attachment icon]
